Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms of Service govern the professional relationship between Bandboxybots Pty Ltd and its clients. By requesting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
- 50% deposit is required to start any project.
- Two rounds of revisions are included in the base price.
- Full intellectual property rights transfer upon final payment.
- B2B payments are due within 14 days of invoicing.
1. Scope of Services
Bandboxybots Pty Ltd provides professional editorial services including website copywriting, corporate stories, editing, and blog management. We do not provide academic writing, medical, financial, or political campaign content. All work is delivered in digital formats (DOCX or Google Docs).
2. Booking and Orders
An order is considered confirmed once the client provides a completed brief and pays the initial deposit. We operate on a "by appointment" basis. For more details on data handling during the briefing stage, see our Privacy Policy.
3. Pricing and GST
All prices listed on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD). In accordance with Australian tax law, all fees are subject to a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). Prices are quoted as "inc GST" (inclusive) or "ex GST" (exclusive) in our formal proposals.
4. Payment Terms and Deposits
To secure a production slot, a deposit of 50% of the total project value is required. For B2B clients, the remaining balance must be settled within 14 days of the final invoice date. Urgent requests (requiring delivery faster than the standard 4 business days) incur an additional urgency fee of 30%.
5. Revisions and Amendments
Our standard pricing includes 2 rounds of revisions. A revision is defined as a request for changes to the existing text based on the original brief. Requests that deviate from the initial brief or exceed 2 rounds will be billed as additional hours of editing, as outlined in our services hub.
6. Cancellations and Fees
Clients may cancel a project at any time. However, if a project is cancelled after the briefing stage has commenced, the Briefing stage fee will be retained by Bandboxybots Pty Ltd to cover the time spent on research and strategy.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
Upon receipt of full and final payment, the exclusive intellectual property rights to the final text are transferred to the client. Bandboxybots Pty Ltd retains the right to include the work in its professional portfolio unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed. Drafts and internal notes are stored for 6 months and remain the property of the agency.
8. Liability and Consumer Law
Our services are provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). We provide the services with due care and skill. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of Queensland. The parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. The exclusive jurisdiction for any legal proceedings shall be the courts of Brisbane.
Complaints regarding privacy may be directed to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001.
