Press Releases & Newsletters for Corporate Growth

Precision-engineered corporate communications that bridge the gap between your business milestones and your target audience's attention.

In an era of constant digital noise, the ability to distill a corporate achievement into a compelling, newsworthy narrative is a competitive advantage. Whether you are announcing a strategic partnership, launching a new product in the Brisbane market, or updating your stakeholders via a monthly newsletter, the tone must be impeccable. We provide the editorial rigour required to ensure your message is not just seen, but respected.

Our approach to press releases and newsletters is rooted in journalistic structure without the need for external agency overheads. We focus on the "inverted pyramid" style for releases—putting the most critical information first—and a curated, value-driven approach for newsletters. By aligning your corporate voice with professional editorial standards, we help you maintain authority in tech, architecture, and hospitality sectors.

Our Strategic Process

We follow a linear, four-step editorial workflow to ensure every release is factual, punchy, and aligned with your corporate objectives.

01

Information Gathering: We conduct a brief interview or review your internal documentation to extract the core "hook" of the story.

02

Drafting & Structuring: Our editors craft the narrative, focusing on a strong lead paragraph and supporting quotes from your executives.

03

Review & Refinement: You receive the first draft for factual verification. We then apply up to two rounds of revisions to polish the tone.

04

Final Delivery: We provide the final text in DOCX or Google Docs format, ready for immediate distribution to media outlets.

Who This Service is For

Corporate communication is not one-size-fits-all. Our press and newsletter services are specifically designed for entities that require a high level of professionalism and discretion. We typically work with:

  • Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs): Companies that have reached a growth milestone but lack a dedicated in-house PR department.
  • Tech Startups: Firms needing to translate complex technical updates into accessible language for investors and the general public.
  • Architecture & Design Studios: Professionals who need to announce project completions with a sophisticated, aesthetic-driven narrative.
  • Hospitality Groups: Businesses launching new venues or seasonal concepts that require a polished public image.
  • Non-Profit Organisations: Entities communicating impact reports or fundraising successes to their donor base.

How the Collaboration Works

We act as your external editorial arm. Rather than guessing what makes your business unique, we dive into the data. For press releases, we focus on the "newsworthiness"—what makes this event relevant to the Brisbane community or your specific industry today?

For newsletters, we move away from the "salesy" approach. We believe a corporate newsletter should be a resource, not a brochure. We help you curate a mix of company news, industry insights, and human-centric stories that keep your subscribers engaged without triggering the "unsubscribe" reflex. This systemic approach ensures that every word serves a purpose and every email reinforces your brand's reliability.

Client Preparation: What We Need From You

To meet our average turnaround of 4 business days, we require a clear starting point. The quality of the output is directly linked to the quality of the input. Please prepare the following before the briefing stage:

  • The Core Objective: A clear statement of what you want the reader to do or feel after reading the text (e.g., visit a website, trust a new partnership).
  • Key Facts: A bulleted list of non-negotiable data points, dates, names, and figures.
  • Executive Quotes: Rough notes or a short recording of what the spokesperson wishes to convey. We will refine these into professional quotes.
  • Target Distribution List: Whether this is for a general press release or a niche industry newsletter, knowing the audience helps us calibrate the lexicon.
  • Brand Guidelines: Any existing tone-of-voice documents or previous releases that you feel represent your brand well.

Deliverables: What You Receive

We do not just deliver a block of text; we provide a communication asset. Every order includes:

  • The Final Manuscript: A clean, edited version of the press release or newsletter in your preferred format (DOCX/Google Docs).
  • The Markup Version: A document showing the tracked changes from the first draft, providing full transparency on the editorial process.
  • Optimised Headlines: Three variations of the headline (one conservative, one punchy, one SEO-optimised) to give you choice in distribution.
  • Meta-Descriptions: For digital newsletters or online press rooms, we provide the snippet text to ensure high click-through rates.
  • Distribution Advice: Practical guidance on the timing of day and effective subject lines for your specific target audience.

Timelines and Deadlines

Our standard turnaround is 4 business days from the moment the briefing is completed and the deposit is received. We understand that the news cycle moves quickly; therefore, we offer an urgency option for those who need a release within 24-48 hours. Please note that urgency requests incur an additional fee of 30% of the total cost.

The timeline includes the initial drafting phase and the two agreed-upon rounds of revisions. To maintain this schedule, we ask that clients provide feedback on drafts within 48 hours. If feedback is delayed, the final delivery date will be shifted accordingly.

Out of Scope: What We Do Not Provide

To maintain our editorial integrity and focus, there are specific services we do not offer. We are a writing and editing house, not a full-service PR agency or a marketing firm. Specifically, we do not provide:

  • Media Distribution: We write the release, but we do not "blast" it to journalists or manage media lists.
  • Guaranteed Coverage: We cannot guarantee that any specific media outlet will publish the content, as editorial control rests with the publisher.
  • Fake Reviews: We never write testimonials or reviews from the perspective of customers.
  • High-Risk Content: We do not accept commissions for political campaigning, medical advice, or financial/investment speculation.
  • Academic Writing: We do not produce papers or assignments for students.

Pricing Structure and GST

Our pricing is transparent and based on the complexity of the task. All prices listed below are in Australian Dollars (AUD). In accordance with Australian law, we specify both the price including and excluding the Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%.

For B2B clients, payment terms are 14 days from the date of the final invoice. A 50% deposit is required to initiate the project. If a project is cancelled after the briefing stage but before the first draft is delivered, the briefing stage fee remains payable.

Service Level Unit Price (ex GST) Price (inc GST)
Standard Press Release per release $500.00 AUD $550.00 AUD

Frequently Asked Questions

Who owns the copyright to the final press release?

Upon full payment of the final invoice, the exclusive intellectual property rights to the text are transferred to the client. We retain the right to list the project in our professional portfolio unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed.

How do you handle confidential corporate information?

We treat all client data with strict confidentiality. Information provided during the briefing stage is used solely for the creation of the content and is stored securely for 6 months before being deleted from our active drafts folder.

Can you adapt a press release into a newsletter?

Yes, this is a common request. While the press release is formal and objective, the newsletter version is typically more conversational and direct. This can be quoted as a separate service or added to a monthly package.

What happens if I need more than two rounds of revisions?

Our standard fee includes two rounds of revisions. Additional changes requested after the second round are billed at our hourly editing rate. We find that clear briefing usually makes additional rounds unnecessary.
